Terms of Use & Community Guidelines (Metalliverse)
1.Identity and Responsibility
Verification: Access to the METALLIVERSE is tied to an active membership with MetalUnites UG. Every account is verified via the payment method to ensure a community free of anonymous trolls.
Identifiability: The invitation is sent exclusively to the email address used during the payment process. The invitation token utilized for this purpose permanently links the user account to the original identity of the payer. Even if the email address in the profile is subsequently changed, the connection to the MetalUnites UG invoice ID remains intact.
Legal Violations: In the event of violations of applicable law (specifically insult, incitement to hatred, or illegal content), MetalUnites UG reserves the right to identify the user based on their stored payment data (e.g., PayPal transaction ID) and, where appropriate, to disclose this information to law enforcement authorities.
2. Access and Membership
The Metalliverse is an exclusive community.
Access is only possible with a valid invitation code, which must be purchased through a paid membership on metalunites.de or metalunites.com.
3. Payment Terms & Cancellation
Contract term: Membership is valid for one year (12 months) at a time.
Automatic renewal: The subscription will automatically renew for another year unless automatic renewal is disabled on the payment platform (metalunites.de/.com) before the current period expires.
No Refund: In the event of early termination or voluntary deletion of the account, no pro-rata refund of the annual fee already paid will be issued. Access to the account expires upon deletion of the account.
4. Account Deletion & Data
You have the right to delete your account at any time via your profile settings. In accordance with the Friendica Privacy Policy, your personal data will be removed from this server. Please note that posts that have already been federated to the global Fediverse (to other servers) may remain there beyond our direct control.
5. Code of Conduct
We are an international community built on respect, a passion for music, and solidarity. To ensure it stays that way, we draw a clear line in the sand. Anyone who crosses that line will be kicked out—no questions asked and with no refund of membership fees.
– Zero Tolerance for Hate & Incitement
Racism, sexism, homophobia, or any form of discrimination have no place in the Metalliverse, just as insults and threats do not.
Metal is diversity. Anyone who spreads hate speech will be immediately removed from the Metalliverse.
– Anti-constitutionalism & Extremism
We do not tolerate any symbols, texts, or propaganda that are anti-constitutional or glorify extremist ideologies. The Metalliverse is intended for discussions about music and culture, not as a platform for political radicalization.
Furthermore, we are bound by the law.
– Consequences & Identifiability
Since we are a closed, subscription-based network, anonymity does not provide protection for criminal acts.
• Immediate Ban:
Violations of these rules will result in the account being permanently suspended.
• Criminal prosecution: In the case of content relevant to criminal law (e.g., incitement to hatred, threats), we reserve the right to forward the payment data and identity information provided during the registration process to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
• Civil law: We will take legal action if your behavior causes damage to the network or the operator.
6. Limited functionality
Certain features within the platform are reserved for administrators. If you receive an “Access Denied” message when clicking a link or do not see any content, this indicates that the feature is restricted (e.g., inviting new members outside the official payment system). This is not a system error.
